Tomas Weiss and I have been finishing up a new collaboration. The album is called Appearances and will be released on his Musical Philosophy label later in the year -- early October. But there will be an opportunity to get it earlier in a special "Bundle" with Tomas' upcoming solo release Dato (on Databloem). An exciting new collaboration for 2011:

Anthony Paul Kerby and Tomas Weiss : Distant Shadows

I am very pleased to be working with Tomas on this release. You will know him from his recent work as Nautic Depths and El Hadra, and of course from his impressive deep drone work with Mathias Grassow.



Distant Shadows is our first collaboration and, as might be expected, it is something very special. Expertly crafted, rich with detail and brooding undertones, the work is composed as one vast and immersive journey through elaborate sonic landscapes and northern visions of isolation, serenity, subtle powers and hidden depths.
